With the high water right now the bass are up shallow, A lot of largemouth and smallmouth are being caught right now in the 2-10 foot range on hard spots and grass, on many different baits including topwaters, wacky rigs, and some reaction baits like chatterbaits and crankbaits. With the water temps dropping into the fall the fishing will continue to get better!
